Black Knights Memorials

The Black Knights are very proud of their service to our country, even though it was an unpopular war we did what was asked of us to do. We lost 305 Brothers to the enemy, and an untold number of Brothers to the war, we have made a pledge to never forget our Brothers and that stands true. We have 2 monuments to attest to that fact. The 1st was at Fort Knox Memorial Gardens at the Patton Museum. This Memorial has been moved to the National Armor and Cavalry Heritage Foundation at Fort Benning GA as of 2017 The 2nd monument at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter Iowa, was placed in Iowa by a group of Brothers known as the Iowa Black Knights. Both monuments are black granite picked to make a statement that, like the stone, the Black Knights stand strong. The back ground on this page is green to remember all of our Brothers that have passed on to Fiddlers Green.
